How Pneumatic Underground Boring Works

Follow the water-service route from the front church to the rear building, then look beneath the parking lot.

Pneumatic underground boring can also be used for water, gas, and some sewer installations.

Illustrated demonstration based on the Norwalk project—not a measured site survey. The approximately 320-foot service is compressed here; the boring and pull sequence represents one access-pit-to-access-pit section, repeated along the route. Connection fittings are shown schematically. Actual job photos and videos are in the gallery.
